CPC Licks is a hardened blend of molasses, solids, fat, protein, minerals, and vitamins designed to supplement rations fed to dairy animals for growth and production during the dry period.

Highly Palatable: The high level of molasses, solids, and fat make for a highly palatable product that cannot be over-consumed. The licking action along with saliva produced softens the top 1/4 inch of the block allowing limited consumption. When this thin layer is consumed, the animals must wait for the next layer of the block to soften before they can consume additional product.

On-Time Delivery: The licking action needed for consumption increases saliva production coupled with the combination of molasses and added fat gives CPC-LICKS a very high concentration of sugar and energy.

Contains Rumen Undegraded Protein (RUP): The bypassing of the rumen by certain proteins allows the quality of protein to be more readily available for tissue growth.

Contains NPN: The rumen bugs use NPN as a source of food.

Guaranteed Mineral and Vitamin Levels: Vitamins and minerals are important for animal health, efficient nutrient utilization, and better nutrition.

Low Moisture: The manufacturing process reduces moisture to less than 4%. Other typical "big blocks" contain about 25% moisture. This high moisture level adds to the freight and handling costs.

No Binders or Hardeners: Many "big blocks" use chemical binders to harden the block or to control consumption. CPC-LICKS do not contain these ingredients. This means you are buying only nutritional ingredients.
